Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre:- The MS Therapy Centre (South Yorkshire) Ltd is an autonomous self-funding charity focused on providing for people affected mainly with MS and other neurological conditions a range of drug-free, symptom management and complementary therapies including physiotherapy, osteopathy and high dosage oxygen therapy. Breast Cancer Care:- There are over 10,000 people living in South Yorkshire who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. This coming year, another 1,400 people in South Yorkshire will hear the devastating news that they too have the disease. Breast Cancer Care is here for anyone affected by breast cancer. We bring people together; provide information and support and campaign for improved standards of care. St Luke's Hospice:- St Luke's cares for adults of all ages throughout Sheffield who have incurable illnesses. Our aim is always to control their symptoms, alleviate pain, and give them the best possible quality of life – all free of charge. We depend on the commitment and generosity of our supporters to help us raise enough money to keep on providing top quality care for our patients and their families. This year alone we need to raise more than £4 million towards our running costs; and to continue to improve the quality of our services and patient care we need to raise more. Every year we help and support more than 1400 patients, and their families and carers throughout the city.

Myasthenia Gravis Association:- Myasthenia Gravis is an auto immune disease characterised by fluctuating muscle weakness. MG can cause disability, has no known cure and can prove fatal. Simple things like eating food, lifting arms, speaking to friends or laughing can become difficult or even impossible. South Yorkshire Branch supports 660 sufferers, familes and carers in the region. Teenage Cancer Trust:- This morning 6 teenagers heard the words “you have cancer”, 6 will hear it tomorrow and 6 the day after. If you’re a teenager and unlucky enough to be diagnosed with cancer, chances are you’ll receive treatment on a ward with very young children or elderly patients. TCT funds specialist teenage units in NHS hospitals, providing an environment where teenagers can get on with being teenagers, an environment expected to improve survival rates and ensure a better future for patients and their families. Funds raised from this event will go towards the upkeep and refurbishment of Sheffield’s current TCT Unit at Weston Park Hospital, and our new unit in the Hallamshire Hospital. Tel 07432 727 441.
