Organisers of the SIG Insulation Sheffield Half Marathon are encouraging professionals from the Sheffield city region to club together to take part in the event’s corporate challenge. Companies can enter as teams in the corporate team challenge with groups of three or four individuals from organisations who are not a member of an athletics club. In 2013 we had 162 people sign up to run for Team Theo in the Sheffield Half Marathon. We are hoping that this year will be the biggest ever for Team Theo, and one man that will be helping us to try and beat last year’s figures is Andrew Harrison. Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2011 at the age of 46. She tells us about her treatment for the disease and why she decided to complete the SIG Insulation Sheffield Half Marathon in 2013 in aid of Breast Cancer Care. Support Dogs is a Sheffield based national charity that works to increase independence and the quality of life for adults and children living with epilepsy, autism and significant physical disabilities.
