When we added together all the money raised from the 2011 SIG Insulations Sheffield Half Marathon and Fun Run held back in April, we were truly amazed at the figure we came to. We have always known that the people entering the Sheffield race are generous, but this figure blew us away. It’s amazing to be involved with the Sheffield Half Marathon again. It’s such a great event that brings people from the local community together for a variety of different reasons. It always hits home how much time, effort and money people are prepared to give to help others. Race day is speedily coming upon us, the air is rife with eager anticipation, rubbing oils and high hopes.
